Webster, located in Worcester County, is home to just over 16,000 residents. The town was incorporated in 1832. Home of Webster Lake, the lake is known by two other names – Lake Chaubunagungamaug and Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. This 45-letter name makes it the longest name for a place in the country, and one of the longest place names in the entire world.

Did you know… Webster was founded by Samuel Slater, who is known for opening several textile mills in the area. One of the mills was later taken over by Cranston Print Works.
